Bavarian Inn Additions & Renovations
Owner: Bavarian Inn - Christian & David Asam
Architect: Sara Lambert
Location: Shepherdstown, WV

The Bavarian Inn has been a historic staple in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.  Known for their fabulous dining experiences, as well is the breathtaking views from the rooms, the Bavarian Inn is a must stop for anyone visiting the area.

Recently the owners of the Bavarian Inn decided to expand upon their current offerings by adding a custom designed micro-brewery, as well as a beautiful new Dining Room addition, and a complete renovation of the existing Reception area and Hunt Room area. Our firm was pleased to be chosen to undertake the difficult task of renovating, and expanding, a building originally constructed over 100 years ago.

Since being completed in 2018/19, the the brothers, Christian & David, have begun brewing a fantastic variety of beer and ale, as well as hosting more people in the beautiful new Dining Room.

Our Lady of Fatima
Owner: The Catholic Diocese Of Wheeling‐Charleston
Architect: Design Concepts
Location: Charles Town, WV

Our Lady of Fatima, is a Catholic title of the Blessed Virgin Mary based on the famed Marian apparitions reported in 1917 by three shepherd children at the Cova da Iria, in Fátima, Portugal.

In 2017, St. James church in Charles Town, WV was blessed with a generous donation by a pair of parishioners that wanted to see a garden and shrine built to honor this event, as well as tell the story of Our Lady of Fatima. So Tim Machado, with Design Concepts, went about designing a beautiful out door garden and patio, utilizing an intricate design of pavers and brick masonry.

Today, the garden is available year round, thanks to the incorporated underground ice melt system, to all visitors that wish to pay a visit to either pray, or learn more about this historic moment.
Berkeley Springs High School Renovations
Owner: Morgan County Schools
Architect: Williamson Shriver Architects, Inc.
Location: Berkeley Springs, WV

As the sole High School serving Morgan County, West Virginia, Berkeley Springs High School has an important role to play in the high school education for all county students.  Considering the school had not had any major renovations since our firm last performed them over 20 years ago, the news that the school would be receiving a new gym and revitalized class rooms came as wonderful news.

Working in an extremely tight time schedule, only having the summer to perform much of the work, our firm set out with the process of renovating Building C at the High School Campus. By the time basketball season rolled around, the students at Berkeley Springs High were able to take the court in a brand new gymnasium, and the county had a facility that will serve them for decades to come.
